The Digital Information Showcase

This is a running list of great examples of high-quality, digitally native information presentation — projects that harness the unique capabilities of modern digital media by being interactive, computational, data-driven, nonlinear, customizable, visual, and mobile. In short, these are things that are impossible in any other medium.

We're putting this list together because CDI's focus is on the digital techniques of nonprofit policy information organizations — think tanks, foundations, nonprofits, government agencies, academic researchers — a group that rarely employs anything other than "click here to download the PDF." (See Digital Distribution vs. Digital Information for why more policy research organizations should produce more digitally native information packages.)
